More than 100 indie bands and major label multi-genre from Yogyakarta will be on stage in three difference stages in the biggest music event called LOCSTOCK FEST held for 3 days, 3 nights at the Stadium Kridosono, Yogyakarta on 13 to 15 November 2009.

To be honest, i am not a big fans of garage boys band genre, for me is just like the karmic ubuntu 9.10 release which sounds a lot of noise which I need to fix them after some sleepless nights! I don't work with something immatures.

But, wait! Music and Operating System has similarity, you are part of it, you are part of the development, you are watching it since it was en embryo until it grew like a rare expensive wine. Then for sure you will be so grateful to be part of the whole process.

LOCKSTOCK stands for local stocks means local artists and musicians to be part of the festival, in somehow I like to hear people playing with the words, sound a high-calibre-events but very local capture.

It's a show time boys! I am so pleased to be part of the agenda, I know I would not be all the time being around the stages, but trying to see some new comers I never heard before. I knew, there will be a lot dogs and doing doggy style during shaggy dog performance, but helloooow....! I am enough seeing him like never play in other places but Jogja.

Some headliners will be on stage at 21:00 pm everyday as the closing events are Day-1 The Rain, Lady Gaga Day 2) D'Beyonce, Letto Day 3) Shaggydog.

So, thrill me babe!

Keep it simple and stupid!

I hate cmd lines, but sometimes looked cool when other guys next to your sofa pay attention to your screen, and he would spontaniously shout... "sorry, but how could you do that"? off course I would say, I don't do windows (hehe padahal dual boot).

Apparently I had no passion to wait for GUI downloader especially for youtube files, it just making me more nervous when streaming becoming so flickering on my screen, especially in the public are. So, my tip to download youtube files silently downloaded while you are working with your another GUI applications, I suggest you to utilize what so call "youtube-dl" small appication under your synaptic packages.

Here is some steps to do:

1. Open your synaptic package software and search for youtube-dl, and install them.

2. Copy your desire youtube url (highlight the link and copy it by using ctrl+c)

3. Open you terminal

4. Type "yourtube-dl" space hold shift+ctrl+V (do not type ")

5. Enter --voila... the files will be downloaded to your folder "/home/yourname"

Trust me it gives you more productivity coz a lot of shortcut, what else you wanna do? off course you can't do that on windows

Teka-teki besaran Upah Minimum Provinsi (UMP) DIY 2010 terjawab sudah.Kemarin, Gubernur DIY Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X menetapkan besar UMP sebesar Rp745.694. Nominal itu lebih tinggi sekitar Rp10.000 dari usulan Dewan Pengupahan DIY sebesar Rp735.000.

UMP ditetapkan melalui Surat Keputusan Gubernur No 212/KEP/2009, tertanggal 5 November 2009 dan akan berlaku pada 1 Januari 2009 bagi pekerja berstatus tetap, tidak tetap, harian lepas dan masa percobaan. Menurut Kepala Bagian Humas Provinsi DIY, Biwara Yuswantara, besaran UMP DIY 2010 didasarkan pada penghitungan rata- rata nilai Kebutuhan Hidup Layak (KHL) di seluruh kabupaten dan kota, bukan hasil survei KHL terendah di Gunungkidul sebesar Rp750.490.

"UMP sebesar Rp745.649 berasal dari patokan nilai rata-rata KHL di seluruh kabupaten/kota di DIY senilai Rp780.000. Kalau sebelumnya berdasarkan KHL Gunungkidul, kali ini memakai penghitungan rata-rata hingga sekitar 90% dari KHL tiap kabupaten," imbuhnya. Setelah ditetapkan, menjadi tugas Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi (Disnakertrans) untuk melakukan sosialisasi kepada pengusaha da buruh."Dalam SK diatur bagi pengusaha yang tidak mampu membayar gaji sesuai UMP wajib mengajukan permohonan penangguhan kepada Disnakertrans sebelum 10 hari diberlakukannya UMP pada 1 Januari," katanya.

Sementara bagi pengusaha yang telah membayarkan upah lebih tinggi dari besar UMP, dilarang mengurangi atau menyesuaikan dengan besaran UMP. "Pengusaha harus memberikan upah yang telah ditetapkan besarannya sebelum UMP diputuskan," kata dia.

Pengusaha mengaku kecewa berat dengan UMP yang ditetapkan gubernur dan mereka mengaku akan mengundurkan diri dari keanggotaan Dewan Pengupahan mulai kemarin. Hal tersebut ditegaskan oleh Ketua Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia wilayah DIY Ibnu Saleh tadi malam. "Kami sangat kecewa Gubernur menetapkan UMP 2010 sebesar Rp745.694. Padahal baik Disnakertrans, pengusaha, dan buruh yang tergabung dalam Dewan Pengupahan setuju UMP sebesar Rp735.000," kata Ibnu. Menurut Ibnu, dengan UMP sebesar Rp745.694 akan banyak pengusaha yang tidak mampu membayar gaji. "La wong tahun lalu saja UMP sebesar Rp700.000 banyak yang tidak mampu. Apalagi sekarang mencapai Rp745.000." tegasnya. UMP yang diusulkan Dewan Pengupahan sebesar Rp735.000 dan didasarkan pada KHL Rp750.000, telah melewati survei di lapangan sekitar 10 bulan serta sidang 46 kali. "Dan angka Rp735.000 adalah nominal yang kami mampu.

"Adapun alasan Dewan Pengupahan mengusulkan UMP 2010 sebesar Rp735.000, kata Ibnu, karena ingin mensejahterakan buruh, meniadakan PHK, perusahaan tetap bisa jalan, dan menumbuhkan ilim investasi. Kekecewaan

juga disampaikan Aliansi Buruh Yogyakarta (ABY). Sekjend ABY, Tigan Solin menyesalkan keputusan gubernur tersebut, pasalnya UMP masih jauh di bawah nilai KHL. Selain itu, juga masih di bawah usulan UMP versi ABY sebesar Rp770.000. "Usulan kami didasarkan pada indeks harga konsumen, sebesar 11 persen," tambahnya.

Untuk menyikapi SK Gubernur tersebut, Tigan mengatakan pihaknya akan melakukan pertemuan kolektif dengan seluruh pengurus. "Pada Minggu (8/11) nanti ABY akan melakukan pertemuan kolektif. Hal ini dilakukan untuk kembali menyerap aspirasi dari para anggota ABY terhadap penetapan UMP tersebut," kata dia.

After being with Linux Mint for more than 3 years, from ver 5 t0 7 as

I am now officially announce that I am fan of cloud computing OS platform.

Why am i doing this?

1. Cloud computing is tomorrow OS and I want to be a first one who experience the future in today time. off course I will share with you later.
2. It is mostly a web-base applications which I don't have to worry in purchasing, installing, updating, incompatible, etc where most desktop applications normally we had, regardless what OS you currently have.
3. It's a social based platform that sharing information is border-less to anyone in this planet.

The above 3 basics reason made me to be brave to step-ahead in using the OS cloud computing and the other reason which is not so much into people consideration but perhaps can be the "magic" key in decision making is that; As of September 2009, more and more corporates offer high-speed, wider bandwidth with less charge to the clients. If the Indonesian government has assign 2 giants telecomunication companies (telkomsel & indosat) as the only company who can accommodate the terms and condition in utilising what so called "3G" (IMT2000), so, as the internet-base OS I think it's the time to enjoy the technology.
