Menoreh – Contd

Puasa gini emang enaknya hanya tidur dan baca, dan kalo baca kebanyakan ngantuk ya turu maning (red. Tidur lagi). Dan rombenglah kupingku minta cerita menorehku dilanjutkan lagi terutama dengan pics2 yang ada di web-album-ku itu, malah beberapa responder dari luar sono minta supya aku menulisnya tetep dalam English, but I’ll try.

Goa Sriti (Swallow Bird Cave)

Located at the Kalibawang – Kulon Progo, we walk from Thomas’s house to the cave about 10-15 minutes up-hill. It said that the cave used to be a hidden place by Dipenogoro (National Hero) and his loyal follower during the war, escaping from the Dutch army.

The cave has very narrow entrance access, but once you are in, it forms large and tall ceiling so it is just perfect for some group who escape from the enemies. I don’t see any signed that it was occupied by Pangeran Dipenogoro, or maybe he did not any mark during his hiding time in the cave. Thanks to them who keep the nature as it is, un-like today youngsters who make the place dirty and un-nature anymore.

I found some unique stone shapes in the cave, i.e a shape like a buried human embrio, a sitting lion, a “dick-head” and more. I expect to see some snakes or Wild Borg but again it’s nothing in there, but I heard a lot of noise from above and once I knocked a stone to the cave’s wall a hundred of swallow and bats flying out from the cave to open air, and this has gave me a heart-attack been attacked by bats and swallow.

Then I was just kneeing with Thomas in fear, when those creatures become calm and back to their nest, Thomas blamed me from doing stupid things by knocking on the wall. I smiled and I said, “I know” and indeed I want to know their nature respond and it works.

dj, bad boy lah you
